I have posted a set of fixes for the original 2.10.2 distribution to net.sources. Most of the changes fix portability problems. All sites running 2.10.2 should make these changes. The first article is a script (actually the diff -e output) that will update the original 9 part posting to the current state. The second article is a diff -c for those of us who are afraid of blindly upgrading files. On another note, I've noticed that some of the fixes being posted are only partly right. They always fix the specific problem that they are addressing, but some of them break something else. The solution I propose is to mail your bugs (preferably with fixes) to me and if I don't see anything wrong with them, I will post them for you. This will save some poor site from breaking their version of news by installing a fix for some other system. ---rick
