arpadate() (in 2.10.1, at least) seems to have a problem parsing dates that claim to be EDT, but really are EST. An example is <1150@cornell.UUCP>, which in addition to being posted on Sun, 30-Sep-84 00:00:12 EDT (which hasn't arrived yet), expires on Thu, 1-Nov-84 19:00:00 EDT. But when you feed this into inews, the expiration date becomes Thu, 1-Nov-84 18:00:00 EDT. Presumably this date will move back in time by one hour for each machine hop the message takes, until it reaches the wee hours of October 28.
