In testing 2.10.2, I noticed that the test articles that I post have a timezone of GMT, instead of CDT. Is this an intentional change in 2.10.2? Does it fix some bug (timewarp?)? Am I doing something stupid? It doesn't bother me either way, it's just a change. Thanks. -- Ronald W. Heiby AT&T Technologies, Inc. Lisle, IL (CU-D21) ...!ihnp4!wnuxa!heiby ...!ihnp4!wnuxb!netnews

The use of GMT is intentional. It solves 2 problems. First, there is no confusion over what the timezone appreviations mean (e.g. BST = Bering Standard Time or British Summer Time). Second, you will notice that the day of the week is not used. This gets around the time warp bug. ---rick
