Another interesting problem i've run into with the new release is the
updating of the max number of articles. When in vnews, if an article
is posted to a newsgroup while you are reading that newsgroup vnews
will not "see" the new article. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a
feature. In 2.10.1 vnews would let you see the new article.

Not only have I experienced this, but after you have read (in
it's opinion) all of the articles in the group, go onto the first
article in the next newsgroup (in the same session), and then use
"b" to go back one article (back to the first group in question),
the new articles suddenly "appear" in the article count.
