Under 2.10.2 on a USG system, my inews seems to create new groups with their directories owned by 'root'. The workaround is simple, since I get mail about every group created, but it worked under 2.10.1. Is this a bug or did I blow it building 2.10.2? -- Geoff Kuenning ...!ihnp4!trwrb!desint!geoff

In this case, "mkdir" will create directories owned by the real UID instead of the expected effective UID. Make sure inews is owned by news, and grouped to news.
