[net.news.b] reading digests in rn

mmt@dciem.UUCP (Martin Taylor) (12/17/84)

Is there any way of saving an article out of a digest in "rn"? I see nothing
about digests in the manual, except a reference to a method of going to
the next article. At present I skip digests in rn, and go back to them
with readnews, which is a bit awkward. Am I missing something that
should be obvious?

This is the second time in one or two weeks this question comes around.
The answer is YES, but it hasn't been documented in an obvious place.
Rn's g command searches (in paging mode) for a regular expression;
the ^G command searches for "Subject:", so it is useful for digests.
