[net.news.b] expire -p

merworth@ut-ngp.UUCP (Boyd Merworth) (07/30/86)

Anyone seen this bug and/or a fix for it? I ran the following
expire command and lost all news up to the current date:

	expire -i -p -e 14 -n all !net.announce !net.graphics !net.news\
!net.text !net.unix-wizards !sysmod !newshelp !net.adm !net.bugs !net.sources

I was trying to expire some old news that will not expire. There is no
explicit expiration date in the articles and they are not in the history
file. Expire will not remove them. Even with this command line, the
articles survived but I lost EVERYTHING else except the explict don't
expires above.

If someone has a fix, I would appreciate e-mail aobut it. Thanks.
I'm running bnews2.10.3 (January, 1986 version).
