#R:sri-arpa:-137700:ccvaxa:5100005:000:674 ccvaxa!rmiller May 27 18:42:00 1983 i have not read the base note thoroughly due to time constraints, but i want to make two comments. first, i appreciate the critique of my earlier note. this is good stuff! let's keep going. second, when a glider lands off field, please do not call it a crash just off the top. i have a friend who has been flying contests for 25 years and has handed out a grand total of $10 in damages over that time! problems with outlandings are usually due to someone being TOTALLY unreasonable, that's why you want to keep it friendly. and yes, we come and get them when they land out, my friend's Libelle can be in the trailer in 3 minutes with 3 people! pur-ee!uiucdcs!ccvaxa!rmiller
