[net.aviation] Russians

Despite the many encouraging reactions I've received to my hoax theory
of the alleged downing of a Korean jet, it looks like the weight of
evidence indicates that some incident occurred. You just never can
tell what those Russian scamps are going to get up to next, can you?
Still, it's not all bad, I guess. I'm thinking of our Georgia
congressman, who must have died happy with all his theories and
efforts more than amply justified -- not a bad way to go, actually.
Looks like his wife is more than able (not to say willing) to carry
on where he left off, with his brother the doctor to help her over
the rough spots. I predict that ultimately it will turn out that
the MiG pilot either a) didn't know it was loaded, b) was cleaning it
and it went off, or c) was only kidding around and trying to scare them.
I hope everyone sold wheat futures short...

What does anyone think about the connection between the 747 and the
Greenpeace Rainbow Warrior incident??? With all of the bad press they
received after that, is it possible that, using their ??sound?? reasoning,
that they decided that anything violating their territory is going to try
to expose, embarrass or humiliate them? In this context it makes some sense
in a weird way.
This doesn't mean that I condone their doing this, but that it is a different
value system and may be valid in a violent, under developed society.
