I've used Marv Golden Discount Sales (Santa Monica, CA) to buy a David Clark H10-30 headset and PTT swtich. Delivery was delayed because I was out of town when UPS came; my cat was having an off day and refused to sign for the package. I talked directly w/ M. Golden (low overhead: he and his wife answer the phone) and he straightened things out. The headsets arrived UPS COD after about 5 working days and worked fine. Another pilot friend recently had the same good experience. I scan Trade-A-Plane regularly and have found Marv Golden's prices to be the lowest advertised for everything that he sells. Sporty's, on the other hand, appears to sell only at suggested retail. Golden accepts plastic over the phone (MC and VISA), or will ship UPS or USPS COD.
