<---- this line intentionally blank ----> Reading through Trade-A-Plane, I noticed an ad for "Free COMPUTER Access". Naturally I tipped to the number listed and discovered a Bdos system which someone in Freemont CA had set up to advertise aircraft and services. It's an interesting idea and nice to see a real person taking it on themselves to try and make a buck at it. Up to now, I've only seen the large videotext merchants doing this sort of thing. It could be that someone in CA knows this "entrepreneur" and could give him some advice on user-friendliness and interface design. However, he's not done too badly and seems to be enthusiatic about both flying old planes and providing a service for those who care for them. His modem can be contacted on 415-793-3325. Since he's looking to help out those aviators who are computer people, try his service out - you might find something of interest. -- bob (decvax!bob)
