This may be missplaced but someone may get as much of a kick as I did.
instructor: OK kid, what control makes the plane go up or down?
student: Thats easy, its this here stick!
Naw dummy, its the throttle (BAM)!, if you pull it out
the plane goes up and if you push it in the plane goes down.
OK kid, what controls the airspeed?
student: Gee, I thought the throttle did that??
instructor: Naw dummy, the stick does that; if you push it forward
the houses get bigger and the airspeed goes up, and if
you pull back then the houses get smaller and the airspeed
goes down. OK now lets take off!
student: (The student violently thrashes the yoke in and out and
says to the instructor:) OK sir, when I get enough
airspeed you pull the throttle out!
instructor: (BAM)!
