According to the July 30 issue of Aviation Week & Space Technology, the FAA has scheduled four public meetings in September to determine whether further regulations are required to assure the safety of ultralight operations. The meetings are scheduled for Washington, DC, on September 18; Rosemont, IL, on September 20; El Segundo, CA, on September 25; and Ft. Worth, TX, on September 27.
