<Engineer- feather four!>
<Yes, sir...which four?>

I personally know of one B-36 on public display- at the Strategic Aerospace
Museum (read "SAC Museum") in Bellevue, Nebraska, a suburb of Omaha. I
haven't been there in ten years, but they had a whole lot of old AF jets
dating from the 50s and 60s on display. None of them were "restored" per
se, but they were in decent shape and were kept clean, etc. Things may
have changed in 10 years, and I know they had plans for some neat
exhibits. Some of the planes I remember there:

B-36
XF-85 Goblin - this was the parasite fighter designed to be carried by the 36
F-86
C-124
B-58 (They let our CAP tour sit in this one)
B-52
C-47
F-104
Mockups of Tall Boy and Thin Man
Buncha missles

Although the emphasis is on SAC, this is a civilian operation, off base.
I believe a credit line at the museum indicated that the a/c were on loadn
(pardon, "loan") from the Air Force Museum.
